For you to train at KPH, you have to be enrolled at Mount Kigali University, School of Hospitality, School of Hospitality, Travel and Tourism Management.
Kigali Paramount Hotel was established with a vision to provide hands-on training for students of Mount Kigali University’s School of Hospitality, Travel & Tourism Management (SHTTM). Through this partnership, the hotel serves as a regional center of excellence, equipping future hospitality professionals with practical skills to thrive in the industry.
Students begin their training at the hotel from their second semester through to the eighth semester. Upon successful completion, top-performing students are offered internship opportunities at the hotel, rotating through various departments to gain comprehensive industry experience before graduation.

A state-of-the-art dining venue with a seating capacity of 100 guests, where students learn the art of exceptional service. Guests dining here not only enjoy a delightful meal but also contribute to the future of the hospitality industry by witnessing real-time, practical training as lecturers guide students through service delivery.

This fully equipped training kitchen is where we nurture the chefs of tomorrow. Featuring modern culinary equipment found in high-end restaurants, students learn to prepare, cook, and plate various dishes under the guidance of experienced trainers. Visitors can catch a glimpse of live cooking sessions as students refine their culinary skills.

A dedicated space where students receive hands-on training in housekeeping and laundry operations, including washing, dry cleaning, pressing, ironing, and mass folding, ensuring they master essential hospitality standards.
The laundry centre is equipped with state of art machines available in 5 star hotels.

Students gain practical experience in planning and executing corporate events, weddings, conferences, and social gatherings. They are trained in event setup, guest coordination, catering management, and ensuring seamless service during functions.

Students train in proper storage techniques for kitchen supplies in pantries, cold rooms, freezers, and chef racks. They learn best practices for preserving food quality, preventing contamination, and maintaining optimal inventory control.
